Birra Menabrea of Biella, Italy renews its participation in the International Alba White Truffle Fair with a special edition bottle dedicated to the event.

Founded in 1846, Menabrea is the oldest active brewery in Italy is for the third consecutive year a partner of the Fair, which has reached its 90th anniversary.

On the occasion of one of the main gastronomic showcases dedicated truffles, Birra Menabrea dedicates a bottle to the theme "AROUND THE WORLD IN 90 YEARS" which is a guide to  the 2020 edition of the Fair.

In the illustration, the tuber “Magnatum Pico” is depicted as a globe demonstrating its journey, "going far and wide", to become one of the most important products of haute cuisine in the world.

The Menabrea special edition is distributed in the usual points of sale in the area.

Quality, tradition and culture are the strength of Birra Menabrea. A beer loved by connoisseurs that has been winning  international awards for 174 years. A success  that can be attributed to  the quality of Biella's waters, in the choice of hops, yeast strains, malt and certainly in the passion of Menabrea’s master brewer and all those involved in the process, from the initial brewing  to bottling.

Birra Menabrea is  a partner of the sixth edition of the White Cup organised by the Porsche Ski Club Italy, an event that combines the passion for the famous car manufacturer and skiing.

 The competition began on December 15^th  with a stop in Selva in the Val Gardena, South Tyrol  and will continue through some of the main ski resorts.

 For each stage there is a three-day event, whose protagonists are all those who love to try their hand at winter sports, also sharing the passion for cars and for the mountains. Participants, in fact, have the opportunity to test themselves in specially prepared winter circuits and racetracks with the supervision and help of professional drivers of the Porsche Sport Driving School.

Birra Menabrea, the oldest active brewery in Italy, is the official partner of the International White Truffle Fair of Alba, one of the main showcases of Italian gastronomy and excellence. Also this year, as every year, on the occasion of the Fair Menabrea has created to a special edition of its 33 cl Premium Bionda Lager.

The bottle takes up the graphic theme of the Fair echoing the two main elements that make up its visual identity: The truffle and the egg. In the special edition, the latter rather than holding the truffle in perfect balance, however, appears in the shape of a crown to exalt the absolute raison d'etre of the event.

This year the Fair takes place in Alba from 5 October to 24 November. On 11 November, from 18:00 onwards Menabrea will be at Botalla's stand for a workshop where you can taste beer and cheese. We look forward to welcoming you!

Birra Menabrea, the oldest active brewery in Italy, has been supporting Tor des Géants, the famous endurance trail that takes place in Valle D’Aosta for many years. This year the race is 10 years old and Menabrea has dedicated a special edition bottle to it.

The 33 cl Premium Blonde Lager is dressed in yellow for the occasion. The letter X in red, which dominates the bottle, indicates the 10 years since the inauguration of the only trail in the world that brings together long distance, the individuality of the runner and love for the landscape of a region.

The partnership between Menabrea and Tor des Géants is support for a sport that teaches respect for nature and the development of the region. There are no cash prizes for Tor participants. Part of the proceeds of the event will be used for the construction of eli-transportable bivouacs.

The event  Tor des Géants for this year is scheduled from 6th to 15th September in Courmayeur, Valle d’Aosta, Italy.  Do not miss it!
